About Us

The company has two directors: Jon Bounds and Stuart Parker.

We Share Stuff was born out of two things:

Frustration in the lack of acknowledgement that the Internet is having a profound effect on our lives.
A desire to ensure that disadvantaged people and communities get the same opportunities as everyone else to benefit from technology.

Creative, transparent and social

As a Social Enterprise, our key business objective is to reinvest the profit we make into sustainable digital initiatives and projects — which must sit on our three fundamental pillars; that is to be creative, transparent, and social.

What we do

We Share Stuff has a growing portfolio of services that are geared towards helping people and organisations understand and use the Internet for the purpose they choose.

This is what makes us different. “For the purpose they choose” We don’t presume that everyone needs the same thing. They don’t. We help you understand the Internet, you understand… you!

We believe in nurturing and growing confidence. The confidence to explore and experiment with the web. The Confidence to choose the appropriate tools and services and the confidence to seek help when you just don’t know.

Why should we choose your organisation over other providers?

  • We Share Stuff was one of the first organisations to identify that a relevant, flexible framework would be required to ensure that everyone has an equal chance to benefit from technology.
  • We recognised early on that by pursuing a model that encompasses sharing, confidence and creativity helps through technological shifts and is the best route to digital inclusion and participation.
  • We want to ensure that those who do business with us feel confident that we mean what we say which is why we operate under the Social Enterprise model.
  • Because of these things we like to think we’re pretty good at what we do!

We believe strongly in a bottom up approach and that ‘one size fits all’ simply doesn’t work in the digital world. We work alongside fellow pioneers to ensure everyone benefits from digital opportunities.

NOCN Qualifications for Progression are a new and different type of qualification. The qualifications contain units of assessment with a credit value attached. These can be accumulated towards an Award, Certificate or Diploma.
We use them to develop life and learning skills as an integral part of any course, with the ability to offer a range of vocational tasters that can be combined to create a size and level of qualification that suits the needs of different target groups.
