Qualifications

Here at We Share Stuff, we recognise the links between formal and informal learning. While we are keen advocates of a less structured, more friendly approach to learning new stuff, we also like to see people achieve, and one of the best ways of showing achievement is by qualification.

We Share Stuff is in the process of becoming a recognised OCN centre. A list of all the units and qualifications that We Share Stuff can deliver, will appear on this page once Centre recognition is approved. Here’s why we chose them.

NOCN Qualifications for Progression are a new and different type of qualification. The qualifications contain units of assessment with a credit value attached. These can be accumulated towards an Award, Certificate or Diploma.
We can use them to develop life and learning skills as an integral part of any course, with the ability to offer a range of vocational tasters that can be combined to create a size and level of qualification that suits the needs of different target groups.

While the project will concentrate on delivering existing units, it plans to develop units that incorporate elements of informal learning, focussing on the internet as a lifelong learning tool.
